Felons

Sometimes I wonder why so many look down on felons. True, they've broken the law in some way, form, shape, or fashion. But once they have paid their debt to society, and completed their supervision period, why should they continue to have to pay by ceing descriminiated against in the work force!  It's like the Judge saying... I sentence you to 134 months in prison, 2 years supervision, and a lifetime of struggle! I know a lot of people say, "they just make excuses, they don't want to work, they're just lazy". Well that's "whoever" opinion that want to think it. In most cases this is not true! Nobody want to go bacc to prison, once they have experienced it. It's just a person can only suffer for so long, and a lot of the times the one thing that's holding them bacc, is that record. Right now as of December 2011, it's five applicants to every job. Now if two of those applicants have felony convictions, nine times out of ten those two applicants will not ce concidered for the job, and the job will go to the one of the other three applicants with a clean record. That's just fact. Most Temporary Agencies will tell you right off the jump that they don't deal with felons. I heard of reasons like, their insurance don't cover them. It's easy when you're well educated, had good family support, and working a good job to say things like, these people are lazy, don't want to work, all they want to do is ce pacified by us tax payers. Yeah it's a few bad apples in the bunch, just like it's a few bad apples on Wall Street, in the Pulpit, on the school board, in congress, and working in the prison system. Every walk of life has it's bad apples! So why when it comes to felons, the few bad apples paint the picture for all felons. Reality is, once you're a felon, and have that label tatted on your record you're no longer an equal citizen in the United States! In 2004 over 5 million felons were denied the right to vote. 5 million people!!! That makes a big difference in an election, and prevent them from having a chance to vote for someone who support his/her ideas. So they have no one in office who they feel is on there side, and represents them on a political level. So basicly there just here, out in the streets surviving. Trying to find employment, and some lie on there application to get hired but once that secret is out, that job is out!  So now you have a person with no job, a family, and a country that has set him/her out on the curb. No one wants to lose their children, their home, so they turn bacc to what they grew up around the streets. It's not excuses. It's surviving. Like I said earlier, it's easy for someone doing well to speak down, or against someone who is almost litterally forced to live that street life. But our "Society" don't ceelieve these citizens are seeking employment, and judge them as an menace to society.


Every one in our country can not, and will not ever all ce employed! It just will never ce that way! I know it's no excuse for the killings, and all the other terrible things that's associated with street life. But this is the platform we create by holding someones past, against them for the rest of their life! When we elect politicians (Republicans), that wants to pacify the rich, and strip every benefit they can away from those at the bottom, it just make the situation worst. The people have to get money from some where to eat, pay the rent, and all the other bills, and if you got a felony, and no family support, eventually the street will succ him/her bacc in. Constantly holding a felons past against him strips every bit of rehabilitation away from him, and eventually he's bacc in the system.


A lot of felons are good stand up men/women that made a mistake at an age where they were easily influenced, and plauged with poverty.  All I'm saying is, it's a small portion of convicted felons that have no hope of ceing rehabilitated, no ambition to get up, hit the job market every day looking for that job to support their family. But once a person mess up, it's a mistake they will pay for, for the rest of their life! I hope those ones who feel felons should not ce equal to other citizens, never end up on that side of the fence.

Republican Road Blocc!!!

First off the ONLY "roadblocc" in job creation is the Republican Party!!! Yes, the GOP! Our President has put forth a job plan that would put MILLIONS OF WORKERS BACC TO WORK!!! Unfortunately THE Republican Party is Hell Bent on bringing failure to our Commander And Chief. A President that has done more good for this country than any Republican has done in modern history. This is the first time ever I have seen congress (Republicans) fight against a President so hard. No matter what any one says, I can almost  certainly say Obama's race has a lot to do with it, as well as the Republicans living in the POCCETS of BIG BUSINESS!!!


Common sense, is just how it sounds... Common Sense, and a little common sense will show you that taxing the middle, and lower class, keeping the tax cuts in place for the wealthy, will only further hurt our country, not help our country. Also thinking that corporations are people, is another reason the Republican Party took a surplus that a Democratic President (Bill Clinton) left our country, and turn it into a huge deficit. Two unpaid for wars, that we did not need to engage in!!! A lot of us don't know that war means MONEY, and big MONEY contracts for their friends. Unpaid for Tax cuts for the rich is another huge factor, yet the Republican Party still insist that these kind of practices create jobs. Ok... It's been 10 long years!!!! WHERE ARE THE FRIGGIN JOBS??? Politicians will have us brain washed into having faith in things, and systems that will both hurt our country, and kill our economy!
The Republican party loves money, and power! To lose power to a "BLACC MAN", I think, really drove a nail in their ego, and they will bring our whole country down, just to try and unseat our President! Obama!!!


I pray that our Commander And Chief, and the rest of the Democrats stand up strong to these Republicans with No "VALUES", STOP letting these Republicans destroy our middle class, and cut everything for the less fortunate! All the GOP is going to do is sky roccet the crime rate if they have their way! They don't care about the people, they just want this "BLACC MAN" out of office! These Rich Republicans hate to see a blacc man bring this country bacc to where it was in the Clinton years! All these years of Tax Breaks for the rich!!! Where are the Jobs??? I swear, the more and more I see these Republicans on t.v. the more stupid they come off to me. And I can't see how any U.S. citizen (no disrespect) that is not wealthy can call themselves Republican, when it is a million percent clear that the GOP is only out to PROTECT THE RICH!!!  The ones who got rich off of us CITIZENS.


OUR PRESIDENT IS NOT A FAILURE!!! THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS THE FAILURE!!! THEY HAVE FAILED TO DO THEIR JOBS, AND WE CAN NO LONGER LET THEM HIDE BEHIND THEIR LIES!!! POINT!!! BLANK!!! PERIOD!!! THE END!!!

Just Another Day!!!

Just another day you say? Just another day on the job, just another day at school, just another day attending church services, just another day in prison, just another day in the hood???? No mater where you are!!! Today was just another day!!! The only difference is... We all experienced this day in a different way! Atleast those of us who were lucky enoough to wake up on this lovely day! Well, a lovely day for those of us who have... Let's see, hmmm, hit the lottery, got a new/another job, bought a new car, had dinner to feed their children, had gas in their home to keep their children warm, lights for their children to do their homework, running water to bath their children, a father in the home to help raise those children, the special medication their children need to survive!!! Yeah it was a lovely day for us!!! But what about the millions o families who didn't have this today??? What about them??? Can we depend on the Republican party to take care of them??? These are the people Barack Obama is fighting for! In November 2012, we must vote for what is right, for what this country stands for! It's people!!!

The Republican Party

I ask this question... How can anyone in the middle, or lower class support the Republican Party? When it is very clear that the Republican Party only objective is to see our President, Barack Obama, fail as our Commander and Chief! They don't care about creating jobs, or helping the millions of people living in poverty. The only concern they have is to protect the rich, and the "Bush Tax Cuts", disrepect our President, and all of the citizens in our country. Take a look at the front runners for the Republican Party, once you dig deep down, and really know them for who they are. You'll see that all of them stand for raising taxes, on the middle, and lower class, as well as cutting benefits for the very low income families. All the while giving big tax cuts to the rich, who do not need them. They want to do away with Medicare, and many other programs that assist the millions of families who needs it. They try to end our protest, or anything that stands against their wicked ways! So before you call yourself an Republican, research what they are for, dig deep down into the candidates running for the Republican Nomination. Understand who they really are behind the lies they feed to the American People, the injust they impose on our country, the millions of dollars paid for their votes in congress, their willingness to let "Big Oil Companies" destroy our land, damaging our wetlands, the willingness to let millions of families starve, and refuse to do anything to help the jobless. Anything to protect the rich, and try to make Barack Obama a one term President! WHO ARE YOU WITH....? THE RICH AND POWERFUL, OR THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA???

Who Are You?

Why do so many people hide behind false images? We have everyone from Politicians, to the simplest of people hiding behind these false images they have created for themselves. Why is it such an issue to out do the next person, or live beyond your means. Why is there so many that are scared of their own Identity?  At the end of the day, a true friend really only wants to know that the both of you can depend on each other.

Let Your Feelings Go

Sometimes we keep feelings bottled up inside us for so long, that it tears us up inside! We pull away from the world, all because something dramatic has changed our lives, or some one has hurt us very deeply. Losing a love one, a mother, a son, a daughter is pain that live with us until the day we ourselve take that journey. I've been a victim of both. I lost my father, and that was the worst pain I thought I could ever feel. It took a long time for me to accept the fact he had gone on to be with God. I prayed for relief, and for God to take the pain away. It's still there to this day! I loved my father, never really got a chance to tell him. I tried to stay under him when I was little, but as I grew older, I began to distance myself. I begin to drift to the street life, selling drugs, drinking, and skipping school became my way of life. I knew it hurt both my mother, and my father! My mother is a Christian, and raised me in the church. I'll never forget the day I left home on my 17th birthday, and the pain I caused my mother. Every time I think of it, it really bothers me, I wish I ciuld take that day back!!! Little over a year later, my father passed away. That was 1994, it's 2011 and I'm still dealing with it! Holding these feelings in, was the cause of loosing the "Love of my Life"! She left me standing alone, hurting, while she embraced another man. This woman had my heart, and walked away with it! I wonder if I can love again, if I can trust someone with my heart, trust them to love me, like I deserve to be loved. When I meet some one now, I always keep a barrier up between us, too afraid to let my feelings get to wrapped up in it, thinking I will only end up alone, and hurt again. My feelings that I hold inside, may be the end to all of my relationships!!! Let your feelings go...!
